This particular mosque was built in the quaint surroundings of Sandakan, a town on Sabah’s East Coast,
just off and facing east towards the Sulu Seas, and against the backdrop of a forested green hills to the
west in an area known as the Sandakan bay. The district mosque in Sandakan is another innovative mosque design. |
