Introduction

ATSA Architects an award winning architectural and dynamic practice was established in 1992 by its founding members; Azim A Aziz and Zulqaisar Hamidin. It provides a variety of design services in Architecture, Urban Design, Master Planning and Interior Design.

ATSA Architects is currently a certified MS ISO 9001:2008 company and will be upgrading to QESH Management System programme to qualify and meet the quality standards for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements.

ATSA has won several awards over the years. In 2005, BCI Asia has named ATSA Architects as Top Ten Architectural practice in Malaysia. It has grown from a small Architecture practice to approximately 80 staffs and has carried out architectural design works in all states in Malaysia and has established its branch offices in Penang; Kuching, Sarawak; Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and an AE practice in Sharjah, UAE.

We are currently in association with OWMP International (www.owmp.wordpress.com) in Brunei Darussalam. OWMP International provides services in architecture, interior design, urban design, project management and Lab consultant in Brunei Darussalam.

ATSA have had International Design experience in Maldives, India, Papaua New Guinea, Iran and UAE. Currently, ATSA is undertaking 3 major projects in Malaysia that will be based on LEED and GBI Malaysia Green building rating.

ATSA Architects believe in Architecture which is both Progressive and Innovative that reflects its time. Architecture has to however, exist in relation to its particular context, climate and culture. More importantly, architecture has to serve its users’ or inhabitant needs.
Although our built structures affect its context, environment and the population, we as architects must complement and to a larger extend, improve its surrounding.

ATSA Architects is located in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, in KL and it is one of the most highly computerized medium sized architectural firms in Malaysia. ATSA has a fully networked, server base computer system that allows its staff to access architectural drawings from different terminals. We have invested heavily on our computer hardware and original software in order to serve our clients better. Although ATSA is capable of producing impressive freehand rendering for presentation, we are also able to generate computer 3D rendering to give our client multiple images of their buildings to view before it is built.

To date we have a capable staff of 80 to carry architectural, planning and interior design works. We have designed and successfully completed projects of various size projects through out Malaysia. Through our associated companies we now have an added advantage by our ability to localize our services in Sabah, Sarawak and Penang.
