ATSA Architects was awarded 1 st Price (Winner) for Commercial Building category at the PAM Architectural Steel Award on July 4 th 2009 for the Extension to the Islamic Museum Building, Kuala Lumpur.

On July 3 rd 2009, ATSA Architects celebrates its 17 years. ATSA Architects was established on July 3 rd 1992 with just 3 key people, Azim A. Aziz, Zulqaisar Hamidin and Yee Teck Choon. After 17 years, it has grown to approximately 80 people with branches in Penang, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. ATSA has set up its Sharjah branch in the UAE in June 2009.
In July 2009, ATSA Architects registered ATSA Planners Sdn Bhd to carry out Master Planning and Urban Design works.
June 2009
ATSA Architects has set up their International branch for Gulf Region in Sharjah, UAE with Al Bashaer Consulting.
The ICT Building in Cyberjaya was handed over to the client on 1st June 2009. The project was a design competition which ATSA won in 2005 together with DEM
(Australia).
