Background Information
The Graphite Electrode Plant site fronts on to the existing Jalan Teluk Datok and is located between Kampung Sg. Manggis and Kampung S. Lempit, approximately 5 KM away from the town of Banting. The road is linked to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The Plant occupies an area of 45 acres (182,110 sqm).

Design Approach
The development consists of 6 main components which 5 of components being the Industrial building and 1 as the Administration building. The layout of the building is taking into consideration the process flow of the manufacturing of the product set by the Client consisting various plant buildings.

Metal decking material is mostly used for the roof and external walls. Special architectural treatment were only given to the administration building to reflect the company’s corporate image. We expressed the façade of the administration building using mainly glass and sun-shading (ESD) devices.
