Design Approach
In designing this assembly plant, we were requested to understand and follow the work sequence of an assembly plant, from receiving the CKD (Complete Knock Down) units until its completion and storage at its parking lot for delivery.
The design or size of assembly plant building and its support buildings follows its function; which basically follows a large span column grid module system. The overall design of the assembly plant uses lightweight materials primarily with the use of steel, glass and metal louvers. The skin of the building is treated by using corrugated metal sheets wrapping and enclosing the building to express its clean modern outline of contemporary architecture.
