IT CENTRE, CYBERJAYA, MALAYSIA

Background Information
The 4 acres site for this IT Center is located at Malaysia’s foremost Multi Super Corridor (MSC) in Cyberjaya. Cyberjaya is planned for a modern cluster of international IT buildings where knowledge & skilled workers will eventually reside and work. Cyberjaya will eventually be the Silicon Valley of Malaysia.

The brief for this IT Center building calls for a World Class, highly secure and resilient building which will house highly sensity eauipemnt and data information. The total built-up area of this building will be approximately 60,000 sq ft. For this project, we were commissioned together with DEM Architects from Sydney, Australia.

Design Approach
The two building design is primarily an utilitarian building with its form follows its function for housing its equipment and plant areas. The outer skin of the building is designed to be a hardened shell with limited openings. The design follows the principle of simplicity which supports clarity in contemporary architectural design.
