Background Information
A new generation bungalow design to be built on a piece of land approximately 13,000 sq ft. The land also sits on hill with a corner view of Kuala Lumpur skyline.

Design Approach
The corner piece of land allows views on 3 sides and this design take full advantage of the surrounding views. The house design is basically a rectangular shape building which the South side of the house angled to capture the view of Kuala Lumpur.
As the land slopes to the back of the land, a semi basement floor is carved out to place the garage, pool room and a swimming pool.

The living room, dining room, library and kitchen are located on the ground floor and the bedrooms are placed on the upper floors. The house incorporated the used of sun shading devices to protect the glassed areas from direct sunlight. A light well and shaft is introduced at the center of the house to draw hot air up for natural ventilation.
Lightweight metal roof, material are used to express the modern tropical house. The design not only follows the best practice for climatic house but also follows the “Feng Shui” principles for the owners. The location of front entrances, water feature, position of the rooms and kitchen is placed according to suitable quadrants.
