This building is to house the new Information & Science faculty at UPM and its design concept was developed along the typical plan of a Malay pavilion building. The design incorporates a series of open corridors that flow into a verandah, enclosed courtyards gazebos and landscape areas. This building was constructed with an extremely small budget with the use of bare hollow concrete blocks as the main material for the skin of the building. The structure, pre-cast hoods and lintels are then clearly expressed by the different textures and colours of the different materials used.
